Free Rice Distribution
The Hon'ble Chief Minister had announced the scheme for distribution of rice at free of cost in the public distribution system with effect from 01.06.2011 as per G.O.No.45 Cooperation Food and Consumer Protection (B1) Department dated 17.05.2011.
4,39,943 family card holders are benefited under this scheme from 01.06.2011 onwards. 3,70,389 families are getting 12-20 Kgs free rice and 69,554 families are getting 35 Kgs free rice using AAY cards.
